Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2, 2026
1. About SAI and these Terms
The SAI review service (the Service) is provided by SAI Labs, Inc. (SAI, we, us). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service (Terms). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Beta service
The Service is an early beta. It is experimental, provided for testing, and may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued at any time. We may update these Terms as the Service develops; if we do, we will post the updated version, and continued use means you accept it. Because this is a beta, features and data practices may be less stable than a commercial product.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you are.
You also represent that you are permitted to use the Service and the third-party AI models it relies on in your country, that you are not located in or a resident of a country subject to a comprehensive US embargo, and that you are not on any government sanctions or denied-party list. You are responsible for complying with the export-control, sanctions, and other laws that apply to you.
4. Accounts
You sign in using a Google account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to it secure. Please provide accurate information and tell us if you believe your account has been used without permission.
5. Credits and payment
New accounts receive free credits, including a free review, on sign-up. You may buy additional review credits through our payment processor, Stripe; we do not see or store your full card details. Credits are non-refundable, have no cash value, and may expire or carry usage limits, which we will indicate at purchase. Prices and credit amounts may change during the beta.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and only with content you have the right to submit. You will not:
- submit material you do not own or have permission to use, or that is confidential or embargoed, without authorization;
- use the Service to fabricate, falsify, or misrepresent research, or to pass AI-generated work off as human-authored where that would violate academic-integrity or other applicable rules;
- upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, or any malicious code;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
- use the Service in or from any location, or in any way, prohibited by applicable export-control or sanctions laws or by the underlying AI providers’ terms, or attempt to circumvent any access restriction.
Submissions may be subject to size or length limits. We may refuse, remove, or limit content, and suspend or block accounts, at our discretion, particularly for misuse.
7. Your content and ownership
You keep ownership of the documents and other materials you submit (Your Content) and of the review reports generated for you. You grant SAI a limited, non-exclusive license to process Your Content as needed to operate and provide the Service. SAI keeps all rights to its own software, models, prompts, methods, and to anonymized and aggregated usage data. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit Your Content and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
8. AI output and third-party providers
Reviews are generated with the help of AI and are provided for informational purposes only. You are responsible for evaluating any output before relying on or sharing it.
The Service relies on third-party AI providers to generate reviews. Their availability, features, terms, and any geographic or other access restrictions are set by those providers and may change at any time, and we may add, remove, or change providers. We do not control these providers, do not guarantee that the Service or any model will be available in your location, and are not responsible for their restrictions or changes. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service and these models is permitted where you are.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Notice explains what we collect and how we handle it. By using the Service, you agree to it.
10. Feedback
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without restriction and without any obligation to you.
11. Sharing your reports
Your reports are private to your account. If we offer a way to share a report, using it is your choice. We will not publish or feature your submission or report publicly without your permission.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend, limit, or terminate your access at any time, including for breach of these Terms or for misuse, and we may restrict or block access to the Service, including by country or region, at our discretion. You may stop using the Service at any time and may request deletion of your reports or account (see the Privacy Notice).
13. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any output will be accurate or complete.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SAI will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. SAI’s total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim or USD 100.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SAI and its officers, directors, and employees from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, Your Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights or of any applicable law, including export-control and sanctions laws. This indemnity runs in our favor only and does not require us to indemnify you.
16. Governing law, changes, and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. We may update these Terms during the beta as described above. For questions or notices, contact us at contact@sai.science. Formal legal notices may also be sent to our registered agent, Telos Legal Corp., 13 West Main Street, P.O. Box 953, Felton, DE 19943.
17. General
These Terms are the entire agreement between you and SAI regarding the Service and supersede any prior understandings. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them, for example in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
